We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for hosting our wedding reception, October 7, 2006. The event was enjoyed by friends, family and honorees.

Our experience with the Emerald House is one that we feel deserves special accolades. From the first time we met you personally to tour the facility the experience started off with a genuine attention to our needs and a truly positive encounter with a vendor for such an event. From the first meeting to the very last minute of clean-up the relationship was truly positive and one that we hope to continue in the future.

The location of the Emerald House is a plus in that it is central to the entire Kansas City area and is easy to access from a variety of highway and central streets. Also important to mention is that fact that you promote business in the mid-town area which is important to us and the entire Kansas City community.

The Emerald House provided a different environment than other banquet and entertainment facilities. The interior is large and provided a number of different accommodations and configurations for us. We were able to host over 250 people and the facility could have handled much more. The band had ample room for their equipment, stage and most importantly the dance floor. We were able to manage both the double buffet and cake tables. The double bar setup allowed for continual flow of guests and did not distract or congest the other areas. Phil your coordination of the additional amenities of a shuttle service to and from the hotel and valet parking made the night flow smoothly and provided us with key services that we were seeking for our guests. The staffing provided by you and the Emerald House was exceptional. They were on top of our every need and each one personable. We had so many comments from our guests about the staff and the service they received.

We have had a number of inquiries as to how we discovered your location and it was simply by word of mouth and a recommendation from a personal friend. We are so pleased that we pursued the use of your facility, not only because of how accommodating you were to our needs, but because the price was simply right. Everything else we received was simply a bonus and made the entire experience even more meaningful. We are including some photos from the event to help you see what a great time was had as well as to show your facility in a most positive light.

The one comment we have heard over and over again is, “That was the best reception I have ever been to”. We think that sums up the festivities, the facility and the staff as a whole.

Thank you to you and all the staff at the Emerald House, we will certainly use you in the near future and most importantly will tell others of you and your business.
